Within the last month DVDProfiles.com became dormant. Reviews dried up and visitor participation was almost null. While it would be easy to give up on this website I believe this website is more important than ever. Lets face it the quality of recent films from the major studios have become subpar. We are in an era of sequals and originality has almost disappeared. It has become obvious, at least to this reviewers, that the only stream of quality films are coming from independent filmmakers. This month DVDProfiles.com is relaunching and taking a look at all films. We will now feature both DVD reviews and regular film reviews from both movie theaters and television. It is also our intent to bring attention to other entertainment that might be worth our visitors time, such as original television programming. It is still our goal to provide quality, honest reviews and therefore we will not accept any DVDs from movie studios. By not being held back from the fear of loosing our access to DVDs from studios you can be reassured that our reviews will be some of the most honest you will ever read.

What we ask from our visitors is very simple. All we ask is that if you use this website please participate in some manner.
